Prime Minister Joseph Muscat paid a courtesy call to the European Commission’s President-elect, Ursula von der Leyen.
It was the first official meeting between Prime Minister Muscat and the EC President-elect.
In a tweet on the meeting, the Prime Minister described the meeting with von der Leyen as excellent.
Von der Leyen was elected as President of the European Commission on July 16.
