As Europe starts the long path to recovery from COVID-19, on July 1, 2020 the European Commission is launching a new, modernised Europass. The new Europass will provide learners and workers with useful tools and information, which will help them manage their career in a fast-changing world.
With the new Europass, learners and workers across Europe can register and create a profile to record all their skills, qualifications, interests and experiences. Users will receive tailored suggestions of courses and jobs (via EURES – the European Job Mobility Portal) in their portfolio.
If they want to apply for opportunities, users can prepare CVs and cover letters using the new online editor. They can also choose to add files (documents, diplomas, images) to a personal library so that their information and documents are all available in one secure location. Users can also share a link to their profile with employers, recruiters and employment services for advice and support on their careers.
As well as new tools, learners and workers across Europe can also access relevant information on learning and working in Europe including links to national services provided by Member States.« Back
