Paving the way for high-capacity 5G network infrastructure

On June 30, the European Commission adopted new rules on small-area wireless access points (or small antennas), which are crucial for the timely and effective deployment of 5G networks.

It is generally agreed upon that 5G networks are essential to Europe’s future both from a social and economic point of view.

5G networks will further enable innovation and advancements in manufacturing processes, tele-medicine, smart cities and clean energy management, amongst others.
