Principal Permanent Secretary visits MEUSAC

08 July 2020

On July 8, 2020 the MEUSAC team met Principal Permanent Secretary, Mario Cutajar and discussed the Agency’s Strategic Plan presented to him by MEUSAC Head, Mandy Falzon. The Strategic Plan is built on five strategic priorities that serve the Agency’s mission, that is, to be of service to citizens through the provision of information on the European Union and by assisting them to participate in the EU’s decision-making processes, its benefits, rights and obligations, as well as in tapping into EU-funding opportunities.

Mr Cutajar emphasised the role of MEUSAC as another important public service offered by Government to bring the EU closer to citizens where it matters most. The Principal Permanent Secretary discussed ways of stepping up the Agency’s efforts in connecting citizens to the EU by serving as a one-stop-shop where the EU is concerned.

The Principal Permanent Secretary was accompanied by the Permanent Secretary for Designate Coordination and Implementation, Christine Schembri and Head, Projects Implementation, Carlos Tabone at the Office of the Prime Minister.
