This year’s SkolaSajf activities organised by Europe Direct Valletta, MEUSAC and the European Commission Representation in Malta, were held between 22 July and August 29, at Europe House in Valletta and Ta’ Sannat Primary School, Gozo. Skolasajf is run by the Foundation for Educational Services within the Ministry for Education and Employment.
The sessions, titled ‘Children for Sustainability’, were intended to educate children on the Sustainable Development Goals, and how they are being implemented by the European Union and the Member States. Through the use of various interactive media, such as videos, slides and a game, children were able to understand better the responsibility of each and every individual in reaching the objectives of the Global Goals.
In total, 506 children from various localities across Malta and Gozo took part in one of 27 sessions (21 in Malta and 6 in Gozo).
