Under this Action, 2 types of projects are supported:
1. Mobility projects that can compromise of Youth exchanges and/or youth workers activities. Youth Exchanges allow groups of young people from different countries to meet and live together for up to 21 days, whereby the participants jointly carry out an activity programme that may include a mix of workshops, exercises, debates, role-plays, simulations, outdoor activities. The Mobility of Youth Workers supports the professional development of youth workers in the form of a) participation of youth workers in seminars, training courses, contact-making events, study visits; b) a job shadowing/observation period abroad in an organisation active in the youth field.
2. Mobility projects than can compromise of one or more volunteering activities. The volunteering projects allows young people (between 1 and 40 youths) aged 17-30 to express their personal commitment through unpaid and full-time voluntary service for up to 12 months in another country within or outside the European Union.
