Information Session: Traineeships offered by the European Institutions

Servizzi Ewropej f’Malta (SEM) organised an information session on Monday, March 21 to a group of students currently in their final year of reading for a Bachelor of Commerce in Public Policy.

The first part of this session aimed at providing students with general information on traineeship opportunities offered by the European institutions. For the second part, students were provided with more in-depth understanding on the traineeships offered by the European Commission and the European Parliament. This also included specific guidance on the respective application and selection procedures of these two traineeships.

Students were also presented with a mock application for the European Commission traineeship and were provided with specific guidance as well as some tips on how to fill in this application to ensure that they can stand out from other applicants.

This information session was held at SEM’s offices in Valletta and is one the first in a series of sessions that the agency plans to undertake as part of its role in promoting EU Career opportunities in Malta.
