ACTIVE AGEING, INTERGENERATIONAL SOLIDARITY AND EU FUNDING

12 April 2012

The Malta-EU Steering and Action Committee (MEUSAC) in collaboration with the Committee of
the European Year Theme 2012 would like to invite local councils and NGOs for a discussion
session entitled Bridging Age Gaps through EU Funding.

The aim of this session is for local councils and NGOs to discuss the European Year Theme 2012 –
Active Ageing and Intergenerational Solidarity.

Representatives from the European Year Theme 2012 Committee will be explaining the priorities of
this year and invite you to give feedback on the upcoming activities organised by the committee.

MEUSAC will then be providing ideas on projects related to Active Ageing and Intergenerational
Solidarity and EU funding opportunities. Success stories will also be presented.

In this session you are expected to contribute your ideas, as the Committee would like to assist you
in your projects related to the European Year Theme 2012.

The session is going to be held on the 19th April 2012 from 14.00–16.00pm at Europe House, 254
St. Paul’s Street, Valletta. Registrations are to be sent via email at funding.meusac@gov.mt
