Erasmus accreditation is a tool for organisations in VET, school education and adult education that want to open to cross-border exchange and cooperation.

Objectives of the action in all three fields:

Strengthening the European dimension of teaching and learning by:

  • promoting values of inclusion and diversity, tolerance, and democratic participation;
     
  • promoting knowledge about shared European heritage and diversity;
     
  • supporting development of professional networks across Europe.

Some of the specific objectives:

Field of VET:

  • increasing the quality of initial and continuing VET;
     
  • strengthening key competences and transversal skills.

Field of School education:

  • increasing the quality of teaching and learning in school education;
     
  • contributing to the creation of the European Education Area.

Field of adult education:

  • contributing to the creation of the European Education Area and to the European Skills Agenda.

Organisations applying for more than one field need to submit separate applications for each field.

Calls for proposals for action grants and action grants of exceptional utility for co-operation between national authorities responsible for the enforcement of consumer protection law.

This call will aim at supporting the activities of national authorities and other relevant bodies notified under the Consumer Protection Cooperation Regulation to tackle breaches of the laws listed.

The action grants defined on the basis of the call for proposals can support a wide range of activities such as:

  • implementation of the minimum investigation and enforcement powers, in particular activities linked to the exchange of good practices;
     
  • staff training, including activities for knowledge acquisition and sharing on e-enforcement techniques;
     
  • creation of online interfaces, e-enforcement and monitoring tools;
     
  • legal studies regarding the application of consumer law provisions in a specific context;
     
  • sector inquiries of specific business sectors and surveys of retailers;
     
  • networking tools, including workshops.

The co-finance rate is set to 50% of eligible costs.

Strategic Nature Projects

The call supports the full implementation of the following plans and strategies:

  • Prioritised Action Frameworks (PAF) pursuant to the Habitats Directive; and

  • other plans or strategies adopted at international, national, regional or multiregional level by nature and biodiversity authorities, that implement EU nature and/or biodiversity policy or legislation and include specific and measurable actions, or targets, with a clear timeline and budget.

This is a two-stage application. 

Proposals are to have a budget of indicatively between EUR 15-50 million, and must be submitted by a consortium of at least 2 applicants. In principle, the coordinator should be the national authority responsible for the plan/strategy/action plan.

Strategic Integrated Projects - Climate Action

DEADLINE: OCTOBER 19, 2021

Strategic Integrated Projects under this call should support the full implementation of the following strategies and plans:

  • National Energy and Climate Plans (NECP, Regulation on the governance of the energy union and climate action (EU)2018/1999);
     
  • National Energy Efficiency Action Plans (NEEAP):
     
  • national or regional adaptation strategies or action plans;
     
  • urban or community-based action plans pioneering the transition to a low carbon and/or climate resilient society;
     
  • national, regional or industry-/sector-specific greenhouse gas mitigation strategies or low carbon economy roadmaps contributing to climate neutrality.

LIFE co-financing can be up to a maximum of 60%, for grants between 10 - 20 million. Proposals should be by a consortium of at least 2 applicants - the national authority responsible for the plan/strategy/action plan should be in principle be the coordinator.

This is a two-stage application.

Strategic Integrated Projects - Environment

Affordable Housing Initiative

This call for proposals seeks to provide support, capacity building and networking for local industrial partnerships, with the ambition to pilot 100 lighthouse renovation districts under the Affordable Housing Initiative.

In order to achieve this, the call will set up one European Affordable Housing Consortium to support SMEs, including social enterprises, to collaborate with public authorities and (social) housing providers.

This call sets the following three main priorities:

  1. Support to local industrial partnerships for implementing the lighthouse districts;
     
  2. Create a hub of expertise, networking and knowledge transfer for affordable and social housing districts renovation;
     
  3. Provide advice towards sustainable financing, better regulation and standards for renovation targeting social and affordable housing districts.

The following activities may be included:

  • raising awareness;
     
  • knowledge transfer, capacity building and networking activities;
     
  • facilitating access to funding, financial and technical assistance;
     
  • develop blueprints for replication;
     
  • disseminate results.

A co-financing rate of 90% applies to this call.

#BeInclusive - Breaking barriers sport award

The #BeInclusive EU sport Awards 2021 aim to reward the best projects that have successfully supported social inclusion through sport. Projects can include disadvantaged, marginalized or underprivileged groups.

The expected results are:

  • breaking barriers: To reward projects that show resilience, giving examples of how to overcome obstacles to participation;
     
  • celebrating diversity- To reward projects that show tolerance, giving positive examples of different people groups and working together or emphasize the benefits of understanding each other;
     
  • inspiring change- To reward projects that show inspiration, giving positive examples of empowerment and role models from groups with fewer opportunities that step up and lead change.

Each of the three categories will reward one winner with €10 000 and two finalists with € 2 500 each. In case of a group of winners, the payment will be made to the lead applicant.

Call for proposals for action grants to provide financial contributions to organisations representing consumer interests in Members States or offering assistance to consumers in Member States in the form of Alternative Dispute Resolution.

The aim of this Call for proposals is to facilitate the consumers' access to alternative dispute resolution entities; including protection to vulnerable consumers, networking of national alternative dispute resolution entities, promoting monitoring activities on the functioning and the effectiveness of dispute resolution mechanisms.

A wide range of activities are eligible to be supported by grants provided that they can be linked to the expected results. Such activities may include:

  • Awareness raising on consumer ADR;
     
  • ADR networks support;
     
  • Case handling;
     
  • ADR operational capacity;
     
  • Prototyping or purchasing tools to assist decision making;
     
  • Performing statistical analysis of complaints and request, determining common problems.

The maximum co-financing rate for grants covered under this call is 50%.
