Flea Markets Campaign: European Elections 2024

In April, Europe Direct Valletta visited four different localities in Malta to provide information about the European Parliament and the upcoming European Elections to be held in Malta on June 8.

Through an information stand set up in the vicinity of flea markets, SEM personnel provided information to passers-by about the importance of voting in the upcoming European elections and participate in the EU’s democratic process. The information campaign promoted the #useyourvote campaign and the together.eu portal.

The information stand was set up on April 20 in Ħal Qormi, on April 23 in Cospicua, on April 24 in Żejtun and on April 26 in Birkirkara.

Visitors were given an information flyer and a booklet with information about the work carried out by the European Parliament.
