Information Session: Equipment and Machinery Grant for SMEs

On April 4, Servizzi Ewropej f’Malta (SEM) and the Measures and Support Division within the Ministry for the Economy, European Funds and Lands held another information session on the open funding call to finance equipment and machinery for SMEs.

This incentive seeks to support micro, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) through the provision of assistance in the form of non-repayable grants to part-finance investment in equipment and machinery aimed at directly improving the productivity of the enterprise.

The scheme is intended to promote entrepreneurship, by facilitating the economic exploitation of new ideas and fostering the creation of new firms, including through business incubators.

During the information session, participants were provided with more information on the open call, defining the parameters of the scheme, allowing them to gain more awareness of SEM’s funding assistance services, and raise any queries they may have.
