MCAST students visit SEM

On May 3, students from the Malta College for Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST) reading for a B.A. (Hons) Social Care Management visited the offices of Servizzi Ewropej f'Malta (SEM) for an insightful session on EU funds.

The session commenced with SEM officials delivering a comprehensive overview of the services rendered by the Agency and the opportunities facilitated by EU funding. SEM officials explained the complex funding options, showing students how they could get financial support for their work within the social care sector.

The visit went beyond just the sharing of information. It came out to be a meaningful discussion on the practical implications of EU funding for the students' future careers. Students were encouraged to envision themselves as active participants in the utilisation and management of EU funds, whether through direct involvement in the EU funding sector or through indirect engagement in related professions.

SEM officials encouraged the students to exercise their right to vote in the upcoming European Elections, to ensure that their views and beliefs are represented at the highest levels of the EU.
