European Funds that Transformed the Country

Photo Exhibition in Floriana, Paola and Mdina

Between November 10 and December 1, SEM is holding an outdoor roaming exhibition offering visual snapshots of EU funded projects in Malta and Gozo.

This exhibition is the result of a photographic competition organised by SEM last August with the support of the Malta Photographic Society.

The exhibition is aimed at bringing to life in a visual and attractive manner, the various contributions of EU funds to the socio-economic development of our country through the several projects implemented in Malta and Gozo.

The photos in this exhibition cover different themes such as the historical and cultural heritage, tourism, health, business, education, transport, environment, and agriculture, among others.

SEM would like to thank all those who contributed to this exhibition with photo submissions and those who in some way or other contributed to the realisation of the several projects implemented with EU funds over the years. It is thanks to their contribution that EU funds have transformed the country in many positive ways.

The public is invited to visit the exhibition as follows:

  • Floriana – near the Tritons Fountain – November 10 to 16
  • Paola Square – November 17 to 23
  • Mdina – Howard Gardens – November 24 to December 1
