Information Sessions on Traineeships offered by the EU Institutions

Organised for first year Bachelor of Commerce students at the University of Malta

Servizzi Ewropej f’Malta (SEM) organised information sessions on April 5 and April 8, to two groups of students currently reading for a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Malta.

The first part of this session aimed at providing students with general information on traineeship opportunities offered by the European institutions. For the second part, students were provided with more in-depth understanding on the traineeships offered by the European Commission and the European Parliament i.e. the Blue Book and Schuman traineeships. This also included specific guidance on the respective application and selection procedures of these two traineeships.

Students were also presented with some helpful tips that they can use when applying for such an opportunity that would help them to stand out from other applicants.

These information sessions were held at the University of Malta during public policy lectures, as part of a series of sessions that the agency is undertaking in promoting EU Career opportunities in Malta.
