SEM holds an online session on the CERV programme, focusing on the call on town-twinning

Applications under this call are open till September 20, 2023

On Monday, August 7 SEM organised an online information session on the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) programme, with focus on the call on town-twinning.

This programme aims to protect and promote the rights and values enshrined in the EU treaties and the Charter of Fundamental Rights. The principal way in which the programme will achieve this is to support civil society organisations at local, regional, national and transnational level.

The call on town-twinning aims at promoting intercultural dialogue by bringing people of different nationalities and different languages together and giving them the opportunity to participate in common activities.

Applications under this call are open till September 20, 2023. More information can be accessed here.

Interested regional/local councils and non-profit organisations representing local authorities were invited to attend this information session. During the session, attendees were provided with more information on the programme in general and the call on town twinning. This session also allowed attendees to gain more awareness of SEM’s funding assistance services and raise their queries.

Regional/local councils and non-profit organisations interested in learning more about these opportunities, are invited to view the recording of this session provided below.
